Anonymous : I'm unfollowing you because it's very triggering to see food (especially foods a lot of ED sufferers would consider "unsafe" foods) in my dash. You should post those on a separate blog or at least tag them with trigger warnings.
People on this blog should be working towards recovery, which means eating foods like that. It was requested that I post more photographs of foods and recipes to improve my blog, so I am responding to my followers wishes and doing so. I am purposefully posting foods that are delicious and calorie dense because they are foods that you need to recover for, and should be working towards eating. The fact that you find them “unsafe” is kinda the point - that is an ED fear and on this blog we work towards overcoming them. I am not here to work for your eating disorders and I am not here to post what your eating disorders would like me to post. I am here to challenge your eating disorders, and help you attain a healthy relationship with food. And that means looking at those photographs and going YUMMMM I WANT SOME OF THOSE whether or not you can go out and eat that right then or if it is something you are working towards doing. My blog is here to provide help and support and part of recovery is normalising food and eating whatever you want, whenever you want. It is your eating disorder that doesn’t want to see these images of food. If you are recovering, then these images of food should give you something to keep on recovering for.
